A jewellery trinket dish decorated in a vintage botanical, floral design with flowers and a bird. These trinket trays are handmade using the decoupage technique on to natural scallop shells. The shells are then sealed and glazed with resin, giving them a glossy porcelain like finish and the edges gilded with liquid gold leaf. The backs are hand painted and brushed with gold.

This shell dish is approximately 12 to 13 cm wide and was found in Cornwall. Because they're made from natural scallop shells each dish is unique and may vary slightly in size and shape.

These are great as a decorative accent and a place to dump your keys in a hallway, as trinket dish on a dressing table or a bowl for potpourri.
